Lucy Arndt, Ecosphere+ Sales & Business Development Manager, attended the annual retreat for the UK community of B Corps and were warmly welcomed by about 50 companies from across the country. In total, the UK community is over 100 companies, with names such as Ben & Jerry’s, Divine Chocolates and Ella’s Kitchen.
Over two days, the community worked together to share insights into using business for good and ran workshops to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges – climate change, achieving the sustainable development goals, the circular economy.
Presentations were given by several leading UK B Corps on their unique approaches to keeping their people, wider society and the environment at heart while running a profitable business, including PUKKA Herbs (herbal tea) and JoJo Maman Bebe (baby clothes).
