AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS, MAY 1-6, 2018
Jen and Daniel travelled to Amsterdam to attend Sustainability In Sport 2018, held in the AJAX stadium.
The event took the form of conferences throughout the days with lots of keynotes and presentations. The event focussed heavily on how sport can be and needs to be used as a tool for sustainability. There was big emphasis on fan engagement and using athletes as ambassadors.
There was a great atmosphere at the event and the mood was very positive and engaging with a collective feeling of a ‘revolution’ in sport and using the sector as a way to fight climate change!
We had great feedback from the attendees and made some fantastic contacts and had really good conversations in educating the sector about Ecosphere+ and what we do.
