Sport has an unparalleled potential to educate and inspire millions of people around the world. If some of that enthusiasm can be harnessed for addressing sustainability challenges, in addition to simply greening the industry, sport can be a real force for good.

The Sustainable Innovation in Sport Conference, organised by Climate Action Programme, was convened to discuss just this, and was attended by major sports leagues from Europe and the US, the International Olympic Committee, and organisations from a wide variety of sports.

Several members of the Ecosphere+ team were there to speak with people about the opportunity for forest carbon assets to play part of a wider sustainability approach that is a tangible way to connect fans.

Naazia Ebrahim, our Strategic Analyst, lead a very popular roundtable session on what makes a successful climate strategy for sports organisations.
