Prague, February 28 – March 2, 2017
The annual Argus Emissions Market conference brings together industry leaders, compliance buyers, global experts, regulators and market facilitators to discuss the development of emissions trading systems. Ecosphere+ was there to meet with key players and potential buyers interested in growing the demand for carbon.
Lucy Arndt, Ecosphere+ Sales and Business Development Manager, spoke on a panel about the voluntary carbon market and how it is a bridge to a lower carbon economy. This panel was chaired by Anthony Hobley of The Carbon Tracker and also included Margaret-Ann Splawn, Executive Director at CMIA. This was one of the only sessions that was not focused on compliance emissions markets and so it received lots of interest specifically around where demand for voluntary offsets is coming from and the co-benefits of forest carbon projects.
