Lisa Walker left BG Group (now part of Royal Dutch Shell) where she served as Vice President for Environment & Climate Change to become CEO of Ecosphere+.
Lisa worked in the oil and gas sector for more than 17 years and has been closely involved in all aspects of climate change strategy development & implementation, public policy formation, coalition building and low-carbon business development. She has been actively promoting and developing carbon markets since 1999 and was a driving force behind a number of coalitions such as the UK Emissions Trading Group, the CCAC Oil & Gas Methane Partnership, the Sustainable Gas Institute and the CEO-led Oil & Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI).
Before BG Group Lisa held various roles at BP including Director of the BP Carbon Ventures corporate VC fund focused on development of a diversified carbon finance portfolio. Lisa successfully secured capital for a number of innovative investments including forestry, REDD+, sustainable land management, carbon farming, low-carbon technologies and bio-energy, including a number of first-of-their-kind deals for the private sector such as investment in the World Bank’s Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF).

Lisa is based in London and lives on a small farm in Surrey with her husband (also a climate change expert), four children and three step-children.
Daniel is Technical Manager, helping the Ecosphere+ team with all things project related, from bringing onboard new projects to technical support questions for clients.
He is a graduate of the University of Birmingham where he studied Geography. He is excited about the incredible technical work that is being developed such as mapping and GIS to protect, restore and track the world’s most vulnerable areas. With these tools he is helping to tell the story and positive impact of our amazing projects on the ground. In his free time and weekends, Daniel attends church, loves to travel and plays a range of sports including rowing and hockey.
Sophie is responsible for communications and engagement at Ecosphere+. She joins Ecosphere+ after managing communications for a London-based environmental policy group. Sophie holds a Bachelors in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and first became interested in nature-based solutions when interning in Kenya at a forest carbon REDD+ project. Sophie enjoys getting outdoors and exploring the UK’s AONB (or National Parks when back home in the US!).
Greg is Carbon Portfolio Manager at Ecosphere+. He joins Ecosphere+ having completed his postgraduate studies in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics. Before Ecosphere+, he worked at a think tank advising governments on energy policy development in Asia and Africa. In his spare time he loves travelling, gardening, playing guitar, and trying not to come last at his local pub quiz.
Alicia is responsible for internal sales processes and operations at Ecosphere+. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Newcastle University and has a long-standing passion for conservation and the natural world. She joins Ecosphere+ with a diverse background in commercial operations and management. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys experiencing new cultures and being outdoors. She often travels and particularly loves art and music.
